Baydr Strik

Principle Tax Strategist

Both a Director and co-founder of Bayswater Financial. Baydr has 17 Years experience working as an accountant and running tax advisory firms both domestically and internationally. Having specialised with clients working in creative industries, Baydr recognised the need to help his client get their finances in order. Most of his clients where talented, but they lacked financial knowledge and confidence.

Baydr wants to help his client reach their financial goals and educate them as they grow into there career.  As the principle co-founder of Bayswater Financial, Baydr decided to start Bayswater Financial in order to provide his clients with additional Financial services outside of traditionally tax & accounting services.

He has put together a team of industry specialists in order to meet the growing needs of his his clients, that give them a truly holistic approach to financial planning.

Baydr has 2 children and loves spending time with his family down the beach. He is also plans on making a comeback into the world of surfing sometime soon.

Ben Howarth

Financial Advisor

Ben has spent over a decade in working in financial services. An experienced adviser with considerable experience across all areas of financial advisory including financial planning strategies, investment advice (direct and indirect), superannuation, and retirement planning and wealth accumulation.

Ben has a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics (Sydney University) degree, a Diploma of Financial Planning, Advanced Diploma in Financial planning, and a self-managed superannuation accredited specialist. Ben is also a member of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) and also the SMSF Professionals’ Association of Australia (SPAA).

He enjoy’s fishing with soft plastics and try and get out for a wave from time to time.

Christopher Hall

Equities & Securities Specialist

Christopher is a both a Director and co-founder of Bayswaters financial. Christopher has over a decade of investment and financial market experience and knowledge. His previous and current roles encompass a broad range of financial services areas and include:

  • Founding Responsible Manager on numerous Australian Financial Services Licences (AFSL) granted and governed by ASIC, including ASX-listed financial services company;
  • Director, Owner, Head of Equities and Chairman of Investment and Compliance boards;
  • Corporate Adviser and Project Manager of mergers and acquisitions;
  • Managing equities desks staffing dozens of Client Advisers advising 2,500+ concurrent clients;
  • Author and educator of staff and client training programs, client education resources as well as eBooks and trading guides.

As well as these executive and management roles, Christopher Heads the equities and securities department for Bayswater.

Christopher enjoys spending time with his children, surfing, triathlon and cycling Australia's biggest hills.

Heba Mohamed

Tax Specialist

Heba has been working in tax and accounting since 2006. Heba studied business at the University Of Newcastle. She has experience in administration, accounting & tax, and enjoys interacting with and helping clients.

Heba is currently undertaking further studies specializing in Self-managed Super Funds. Heba love’s being part of the Bayswater financial team looking after and completing client administration.

Heba enjoy‘s the outdoors, loves cooking and spending time with my family on the beautiful Central Coast.

Troy Mahoney

Financial Advisor, Assets & Insurance specialist.

Troy has been in the Financial Planning industry for almost 20 years and thoroughly enjoys assisting clients and staff achieve their goals.

Troy has worked in all aspects whether that be as an Adviser, Paraplanner, Responsible Manager, Compliance Manager and leading a team. This has given him a great understanding of the industry and the benefits that we can provide to clients in helping them reach their goals.

To assist clients further he obtained real estate accreditation. Troy hold’s a Bachelor of Commerce and Diploma of Financial Services.

He enjoys spending time with his 3 kids and sports particulary Tennis, AFL (Essendon) and NRL (don't hold being a Manly Supporter against him though)

Sharlen Griffith

Tax strategist

 Sharlen has been working in financial services industry in both small and large corporations for the last two decades (she started young she is not that old!). She completed a Bachelor of Management majoring in Accounting at Newcastle University, and is currently undertaking her CA qualification.

Sharlen enjoy’s dealing with clients from all walks of life and offer training, set up and ongoing support with accounting and tax needs for small to large businesses.

Her weekends are spent with her 4 children running around with sports, parties and activities (Their social life is much better than her’s). She love’s cooking and can always be found trying out new dishes, her husband keeps the takeaway menu on hand when it fails)
